What is
Tele Psychology?

Tele Psychology refers to face-to-face visits online, which establish a formal doctor-patient relationship. We use a HIPAA compliant electronic practice management and video conferencing tool. It allows accessibility with your doctor while avoiding vehicle traffic and waiting rooms.

Your doctor will attentively enhance your engagement during visits, and you can maintain confidentiality and comfort from the privacy of your home. To this aim, you will be thoughtfully helped to make a proper home space that gives you similar therapeutic comfort to that of a free association therapy couch.

Direct Care & Concierge Care

Direct Psychological Care (DPC) means fee for service; insurance not accepted. Doctors who take insurance only have the illusion of free speech. Insurance companies require doctors to meet government benchmarks and regulations, and follow protocol and checklists. They create financial incentives to favor or disfavor certain doctorial decisions, and control the amount of time a doctor has for patient communication. We believe this is undesirable. We operate independent from the layered constraints of the medical-industrial complex.
Concierge Care is a full-service treatment model. We prefer enhanced doctor-patient relationships that provide convenience, personalization, and immediacy for you. Monthly membership benefits allow you to be worry-free about charges whenever you need your doctor. This “old fashioned” practice style typically results in greater patient satisfaction. Concierge Care is preferred by people who want an accessible relationship with their psychologist, unhurried attention to their significant needs as they arise, and integrated care. While monthly membership services are customized for you, all of the benefits are included.

Psychotherapy Assessment

Psychotherapy Assessment: $250 per hour

A psychodynamic (analytic) assessment for psychotherapy covers two visits. It combines a computer-based symptom assessment; a face-to-face interview for the presenting complaint and a comprehensive history (physical, psychological, environmental, social, occupational, and spiritual domains); and a face-to-face discussion of diagnostic impressions and initial treatment formulation.

Psychotherapy

Individual Psychotherapy: $175 per hour

Psychotherapy is scheduled twice weekly. Psychodynamic therapy is based on psychoanalytic theory and principles, and Christian integration is rooted in a biblical foundation. It focuses on increasing self-understanding and deepening insight into personal conflicts and conditions which underlie complaints. It is depth therapy that is cooperative and active in nature. Analytic psychotherapy can be lengthy, and can often lead to increased courage, objectivity, and spiritual wisdom; and to better relationships.

Consultation

Individual Consultation:$175 per hour
Couple Consultation:$200 per hour

Strategic consultation is based on short-term problem solving and is advisory in nature. It is for highly motivated individuals who value results. It involves consultative discussions that result with direction about how to approach a problem. Consultation is also sought by people wanting a second opinion in matters involving their mental health. Consultation does not necessarily require a formal clinical evaluation; although second opinion consults may warrant it. Relevant recommendations and referrals may be provided.

Psychological Evaluation

Psychological Evaluation: $2,400
Results Consultation: $200 per hour

A psychological evaluation is a comprehensive and formalized way of examining and explaining a person’s issue. It is made up of multiple psychological tests, an in-depth clinical interview, a comprehensive history, a mental status exam, a collateral interview, a records review, identification of pathology and strengths, diagnostic impressions, relevant recommendations regarding referral questions, and a synthesized report.

Testing

Individual Test: fee varies by test
Test Administration and Processing: $150 per hour

Psychological tests obtain a standardized measure regarding intellectual ability, personality function, emotional adjustment, and other focus areas. A test may be used to inform a particular issue under examination and is chosen for its clinical utility and good psychometric properties.

Legal

Letters and Collateral Calls: $250 per hour

Some services carry additional considerations. These sorts of letters or collateral calls also involve a record review for existing patients, or a consultation visit for new clients.

  • Prescription for emotional support animal
  • Authorization for work absence
  • Attestation of psychological services
  • Collateral call assisting an independent evaluator

Subpoenas

WE DO NOT WANT TO BE INVOLVED IN YOUR LEGAL MATTERS
(under most circumstances)

Yet, when otherwise compelled (i.e., subpoena), any legal assistance provided will result in additional charges that correspond with our level of involvement. A subpoena is a legal, written order to compel a doctor to provide documents or other tangible objects, or to give testimony at a specific time and place. A new patron must disclose any legal involvement or requests immediately; in the event a proceeding arises after consultation or treatment has already been established, you must notify us immediately.

Subpoena Involvement: An hourly fee of $500 will be charged for the consideration of all of our time spent on communication with attorneys, missed session fees should we have to cancel visits   in order to appear, preparation time and preparation fees, mileage, attendance and waiting time, and special considerations (e.g., interrupting a vacation).

Records: An hourly fee of $250 will be charged for the review of records to conceal confidential information required by law. Additionally, under Washington law, $1.17 per page will be charged for the first thirty pages; 88 cents per page will be charged for all other pages; a clerical fee of $26.00 will be charged.
