The Branches Psychology provides psychological services with a biblical foundation. Working with a psychologist should be a valuable investment. Dr. Maciel thinks that true believers require far more than what pharmaceutical intervention or managed care counseling can change; they deserve depth psychology that helps to revive the mind. This is a place where Christian identity is respected (Galations 5:1), a place for character strengthening and resilience building (Joshua 1:9), where good work may be accomplished together (Jeremiah 29:11).

The idea of this practice started in the year preceding the plandemic. Dr. Maciel witnessed how societal tragedy has a profound way of making a person of courageous faith, an authentic follower of Yeshua (Jesus). It was made clear that believers share an awesome, ancient, living inheritance that is their true identity (Genesis 32:28).

Before His final passover feast with the disciples, Yeshua explained that His words are the work of the Father that dwells in Him: “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.” He assured them that 1) the work they are authorized for is meant to be accomplished together; and 2) they will receive a helper, the Spirit of truth, not known by the world, who will live in them and lead them to all truth.

Identity in the LORD is one that is not generally understood by main stream psychologists. And so, we answer the call of a genuine demand for psychological service to “The Branches.”
